what is the Culinary Race?

If you love food and love supporting local businesses and discovering new food destinations to love, then this is the race for you.

Team up with several of your funnest, most adventurous friends, family or your partner and form a team. Give it a name. Decide to wear costumes. Or not.tomato

You must have a car.

You may want to have snacks, water and/or coffee in the car to keep you energized throughout the day.

Prepare to spend the day solving clues and riddles, racing to locally run and operated food dbaconestinations all over Calgary and be ready to have your entire team perform a task at each location. Tasks are determined by location and could include (or not) food, beverage sampling or physical tasks. Be ready.

You will have a passport. Your entire team must perform task to get passport stamped or initialed.

Complete task, race off to the next destination. Get to as many destinations in your allotted time period (10-4:30pm) before returning with your passport to check in. You must present passport to potentially win prizes.

You win prizes based on points. The more tasks and/or bonus clues you do, the better chance you have to win.

Have fun.

Smile lots.

Take tons of photos.
